Weekly Writer Club Terms and Conditions of Membership
The Weekly Writer Club [WWClub] membership is per household, and is not transferable or refundable.
Membership is private. The Weekly Writer Club does not share, sell, or distribute any membership information. The Weekly Writer Club does not allow advertising in the online clubsite: no banner ads, no click ads, no search engines. All information in the Weekly Writer Club is intended for WWClub activities and academic assistance only. No information is sold by the Club Director to any third party. By agreeing to the terms of membership, each family member agrees to help the WWClub maintain safety and security by not sharing or forwarding WWClub information, projects, or any contact information to non-members.
Parents are responsible to supervise their own children online. Parents can review all personal information at any time or make changes and deletions directly by logging in as their child or by contacting the Club Director by e-mail or by postal mail. Parents have open access to all online family activities ( forums, messages, chats) and can view history logs to monitor involvement. The Weekly Writer Club welcomes parent involvement and discussion. By joining the WWClub, parents assume full and complete responsibility for all information provided by their children in the WWClub and agree to work with the Club Director to make it a supervised, safe, and secure learning environment. It is the parent’s responsibility to report any concerns immediately to the Club Director. Under no circumstances will the WWClub, the Club Director, any assistants, parents, or children ever be held liable.
The Club Director may revoke membership privileges if any member uses the WWClub in a way that is deemed inappropriate by the Director. Inappropriate use would include any posts or language that would be inappropriate in a family or professional setting.
Online Programs: All posted content, including member content, becomes the property of the WWClub and can be removed at the discretion of the Club Director. In the event of a computer failure, online WWClub members can immediately use the offline Mailbox Tutor program and send their writing in by mail to the Club Office until the family computer is repaired up to six weeks.
Club Mail: All members may opt to use the private Club Office post office box instead of their personal home address, if desired. The Club Post Office address would be: [Your Name] Weekly Writer Club, P.O. Box 3333, Escondido, CA 92025. Please note: All mail to the WWClub is the property of the WWClub so that it can be opened, digitized, and transmitted to the recipient, if requested. To receive any mail from the WWClub, a self-addressed stamped envelope must be included.
Prizes: Membership must be current in order to receive any prize, incentive, or reward. There is a maximum of one prize per family in the same contest.
Any changes in the terms and conditions of membership will be posted on this page and in a Club Message.
If you have any questions about your membership, contact the WWClub Office at P.O. Box 3333, Escondido, CA 92025
