Terms of Membership
I understand that my Club membership is for keeps; tuition is not refundable. As a parent of a Weekly Writer Club member, I also understand that I am required to supervise, oversee, and assist my own children. I understand that the WWClub is student-centered which means that families work together to help support all members with their ideas, address searches, and projects. I understand that my membership must be current in order to receive any prize, incentive, or reward and that there is a maximum of one prize per family per calendar month. All posted content becomes the property of the Weekly Writer Club and can be used to promote educational goals. All members agree to help the WWClub maintain safety and security by not sharing or forwarding WWClub information, projects, or any contact information to non-members. All contact information provided by the parent or child to the Weekly Writer Club is intended for WWClub activities and academic assistance only. No information is sold by the Club Director to any third party. All WWClub websites are advertisement-free so that no third party can collect information through the use of cookies. Even so, the Weekly Writer Club, its Director, teachers, or members are not responsible for links leading off the Clubsite. Parents can review all family information at any time or make changes and deletions by contacting the Club Director. Parents have open access to all family online activities( forums, messages, chats) and can view history logs to monitor involvement. By participating in the WWClub, parents assume full and complete responsibility for all information provided by their children in the WWClub and agree not to hold the WWClub, its Director, teachers, or other members liable for any reason. Instead, in good faith, all members agree to work together to make the Weekly Writer Club a supervised, safe, and secure learning environment. The Club Director has the full right to remove any content from the site or to block a member for any reason if there is a problem that cannot be resolved. If there are any questions, problems, concerns, or suggestions, parents have an open invitation to contact the Club Director by mail at The Weekly Writer Club, P.O. Box 3333, Escondido, CA 92025 or by email at info[at]weeklywriter.org.
